Inconsistent of Cost VPRS

Hi All,

Need your comment on the issue happened.

Cost VRPS is update with the price maintain in future time.

1. SO > DO >SI is done on 03.08.2010. The Cost VPRS should be 12.56.

2. As shown in the material master record change, someone is update the price of 2963.16 on 29.10.2010 with effective time 30.07.2013.

3. For proper process, this should not effect the Cost VPRS that been invoice early.

Hi Trevor Wong,

Firstly, check the changes in the delivery and billing documents where VPRS cost is showing wrong.

Secondly check whether any enhancements have been activated which are related to VPRS condition type.

Hi All,

For this case, we found the root cause of the problems.

Red Box : If Back Date Price is maintain in it with (Valid Date).

Sales Order & Invoice will take all the price from the Future Price instead of Standard Price which haven't been release by CKME .

Seem to be a Loop Hole ==

No sure is that any solution to fix it. Your Idea is Appreciated.

What ever you have provided ,in that , I am seeing Price control is S not V .If you want Standard price when you are processing sales order then you need to maintain  S or else maintain V if you want Moving average price in Sales order of VPRS cost .

If my observing is wrong please correct me with some inputs .

Let me put your question again for understanding

You have created SO, Delivery and Invoice on a particular date 3.08.2010 and VPRS is 12.56

and some one updated the price of material master at later stage and this is affecting your Invoices by updating VPRS with change price?

Is my understanding correct ?

Actually I'm Not sure when such case happen and how it happen.

Just a Quick Question on your Issue which you have quoted at the Invoice level !!

Could you let me know whether this kind behavior is persisting in all Invoice document or it is very specific to few documents or order type..?

FYI, It only happened to Single Document. All the other is working fine.
