309 posting stock in Q in warehouse while in unrestricted in IM

Hello Gurus

My client has HU managed storage location along WM activated which have materials activated for QM.

Business is doing 101 for A material which will create delivery. This delivery will be packed and subsequently TO will be created and confirmed and in the last PGR will be done. Then this material A will 101 Q stock since material has inspection type assigened in material master. Now UD will be done and this material A will move from 101 Q to unrestricted stock both in warehouse and in inventory with movement type 321. At this point material A is in unrestricted stock in storage location and in warehouse. Till this point everything is fine.

Now when material to material transfer is done with movement type 309 from material A to material B. This will generate delivery for which TO will be created and confirmed and PGI will be done. Now with this material will move from A to B in unrestricted stock in MMBE but in warehouse material will be in Q stock type in LS26.

We have checked lot of things but we could find why this is happening.

Did anybody come across this kind of scenario? or does anybody know why this is happening?

Hi,

Is this the case only with the two materials or all the materials? Did you check the reverse process as well... procuring B with 101 and then transfer to A with 309?

Also, check this process for a non QM managed material and let us know of the outcome.
