Area menu S000 available in NWBC navigation panel

Hi

Does anyone know how to get the entire area menu S000 (or any area menu) available in the NWBC navigation panel (the menu on the left)?

We use NWBC 4.0(patch level 3) for Desktop.

   At least up to NWBC 4 PL#5, the NWBC Favorites Panel does NOT seem to support hierarchical folder display ...  I have tested several method, but doesn't seems like Area Menu transactions is supported directly in NWBC.

   Work around: The closest solution, is to copy the Area Menu into your NWBC User Role, That will then appear as a Work center in NWBC; which meets most of the needs.

I was wondering if there was any update as to using area menu transactions in NWBC? Is this function still not supported. We're on 5.0 PL 4 and I've not found a way to switch between area menus through calling the transaction code associated with the area menu.

I was hoping there might be a better option than the creation of an Area Menu work center.

In PL6 and PL7 there has been an option in the settings dialog.

Use SAP Menu instead of User Menu.

I have also noted that if a user has no roles (like only profile sap_all) the standard menu is rendered in NWBC.
