Delay in Syndication from Enterprise Portal to ERP

Dear Experts,

There is an issue which we are facing for delay in the XML file generation from MDM syndicator which is triggered using the Enterprise Portal using JAVA API.

Could you please share some information and ways for resolving this issue.

Hi Gaurav,

Within MDM's space, we are not worried about APIs which are triggered only after syndication. So lets not confuse ourself talking about API. We must track on the root cause of delay with syndication process.

Will it be possible to provide a snapshot of Port details for which you are attempting to perform syndication.?

Hi Gaurav

Syndication interval dependent from many parameters:

outbound port processing interval

Auto syndication Task Delay

inbound outbound process activity

outbound messages size

using workflow for syndication and use "wait" step inside it, etc.

You can influence to your syndication process

1) Check your outbound port parameter "Processing interval"

it  to bring influence to syndication process

2) check parameter in mdss.ini file

Auto Syndication Task Delay (seconds) =

or

load SAP MDM Console

Select Auxiliary Servers menu items

Mount your Syndication server

and check "Auto Syndication Task Delay" there
