Hai,
I see Network Design under APO in help.sap.com and is also included in list of topics for APO 3.0 certification. I could read material in help.sap.com but I am not able to find any transaction codes or path in APO system (both 3.1 and 4.0). It is talking about interactive network design, evaluating results in BI.....
Could somebody please help me on this?
Thank you.
Hi Visu
Network design used to be there till 3.0.
I dont know the exact reason why but it was dropped off since 3.1
Your help file is 3.0 version which is why it is there in it still.
Please confirm if the APO 3.0 certification you are mentioning is available currently.

Hai Harish and Somnath,
Thanks for the reply. The versions I was looking at are 3.1 and 4.0. So, as harish said it may be taken off. But unfortunately if you intend to get certified, you need to have some knowledge of Network Design(it has very low weightage though), as 3.0 is the only available certifiaction now in US.
Thanks anyway. That completely clears my doubt.
Hi Visu
no worries.as Somnath mentioned we just remember having started on working with ND , when it vanished. So dont know much about how useful it was when it was there. I suppose it was meant for strategic planning and the focus of APO was not that
Can you Pl check again about the certification with SAP Education in the US about this? I believe APO certification was supposed to be phased out in 2003 or so and ran in parallel to the new certification for some time after that. i cant locate any info regarding certification in the sap website. u got a link?
I completely agree with Harish. Now I feel excited to have touched that functionality 5 years back - hope Harish also remembers those days.
Anyway ND is no longer a functionality or module in APO since SCM 4.0.
Hence you can skip that chapter .... : )
I checked your link it is the APO 3.0 help.
Thanks,
Somnath
