Hello Gurus
I am forwarding again my issue as it refers below. How can I handle this. Please help me . Is there a way in which the system can read fiscal year instead of calendar year for frequencies. Below is the nature of issue:
Hello Gurus
I have yet another special feature with my Final Settlement Frequency.
I have my testing contract as follows:
Start Date 01.07.2012
On Posting Parameter Tab I set Frequency Start as Custom
User Defined Start as 01.07.2012
This is the first fiscal period of the client and runs up to 30.06.2013
I have set my reporting rule as follows:
For Sales Frequency 3
Frequency Unit : Months
Tolerance : 7 Business Days
Calendar: ZA
For the Certified Sales I set the Rule as Follows:
Frequency : 1 in years
Frequency Unit : Years
Tolerance : 3 Months
Calendar ZA
The following are the intervals for the Sales Reports:
01.07.2012-30.09.2012
01.10.2012-31.12.2012
01.01.2013-31.03.2013
01.04.2013-30.06.2013
But when I simulate the Sales Report for the Certified Sales the system is coming up with 2 intervals as follows:
01.07.2012-31.12.2012
01.01.2013-31.12.2013
The system is considering the frequency as start of Calendar yr instead of say custom. I want one interval for the certified sales report as for example
01.07.2012-30.06.2013.
Do you have an idea of how I can manupilate the system to come up with that .
Thank You in Advance
Regards
David
Hi David,
I have tried an example in our test system.
My frequency is as follows.
So I did not make any changes here, it is just a quarterly frequency starting at the first of a calender year.
Then my condition.
This starts at 01.07.2012 with the regular frequency assigned.
In my sales based rent tab.
The sales is reported per quarter starting on 01.07.2012.
The settlement is yearly.
When executing the sales based rent settlement I get the following result.
This looks like you want it. Did you fill anything different?
Regards,
Jeroen
