Upgrade 46C to ECC6 - Compliance Calibrator and Fire Fight

We are currently in the process for our upgrade to ECC6. I found this

NOTE 989386, which refers to Compliance Calibrator 4.0 compatibility with

ECC6.

We have a version of Compliance Calibrator 4.0 and Fire Fight 3.0

installed on our system before SAP acquisitioned Virsa. The last upgrade

we had was from 3.0C to 4.0. We received transports for the upgrade and

was instructed not to use SPAM because we had a different version

Here are my questions.

1.Should we just follow the instructions on the note (989386

2.Should we install the add on VIRSA 400_46C before the upgrade and then

follow the instructions on 989386, or

3. SAP will provide a way to upgrade the VIRSA objects for ECC and keep

the components as ‘non add-on’ as we currently have them? Or.

4.We don’t have to do any thing

Thanks for clearing up my confusion.

989386

Symptom

When exporting 100 or more Product records to excel from the Product Search Result view no records are exported and only a blank excel sheet is displayed.

? Is there another note that you are referring to?

My apologies, the NOTE is:

Note 989368 - Upgrade to SAP ECC 600 with VIRSA 400_700.

I have a similar issue / question. We are executing the PREPARE for an upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0. As part of the upgrade, we receive the following error:

"ERROR: The version 003A_46C of the Add-on ST-PI is too low for this upgrade (<003C_40B). You need to upgrade the Add-on first before you can proceed with the PREPARE. Please refer to Add-on 989368 for further information.

After updating the Add-on version you need to repeat the initialization module."

We are not sure how to proceed. The Support Package mentioned in 989368 is not available. Should we be patch ST-PI or executing 989368? or both? Any thoughts?
