SD_VBAK & SD_COND Archiving query

Hi experts,

We are planning to archive  the objects SD_VBAK, RV_LIKP & SD_VBRK in SARA.

We also want to archive the SD_COND object (KONH & KONP) but i have a query.

1. If I archive SD_VBAK, then will the transactional data for pricing in KONV etc also get archived? or will i have to archive4 SD_COND for KONH &    

    KONP separately irrespective of the SD_VBAK data?

This is because in SD_VBAK object, i don;t see any archiving object for pricing exepct for KOCLU (Cluster for Conditions in Purchase and Sales), VPKHEAD (Sales Pricing Header Data) & VPKSDITEM (Sales pricing header data specific to SD). I don;t have a clue what these objects do?

2. If i archive SD_VBAK then will it affect the pricing condition records in SD_COND (KONH & KONP) or vice versa?

Please suggest how to go about archiving the pricing conditon data (whether transactional data in SD_VBAK or directly archiving SD_COND for KONH & KONP).

Hi Siddhant,

Go to tcode AOBJ (settings for archiving objects) and check the predecessors.

Other useful tcode is DB15, where you can see relation of tables and archiving objects.

A last suggestion. Always, search notes (consulting, FAQ,...) related with an archiving object. There are a lot of useful information in the SAP marketplace.
