Yes you can, but explain a bit where did you create the controls at first place.

I am answering for general deletion:

Follow the steps:

1. Delete all the entries from your Mitigating control table for users for that control.

2. Then Proceed to delete it under Subprocess(Under Business Process).

Let us know if its not done.

Hi Rajesh,

I have created a Control in Business process (by using the create-"control" option under a sub process).

Can you please elaborate the first step specified above.(Where can we check the entries from Mitigating control table).

Hi Ramakrishna,

There are two type of controls in GRC

-Controls defined in PC application, which are as you said are created under Subprocess (under Activities and Processes>Business Processes).

From NWBC, you can simply choose the control and click on Delete button.

If the control has any existing cases/issues, it will throw an error. In that case, you need to delete the cases first and then control.

-Mitigation control-which are defined for AC application.

Hi Rama,

Goto Acces Management--> Mitigated Access-->Mitigated users--> Check entries for that control and delete them.

similarly for Mitigated roles-> check entries and delete.

then go ahead with deletion of control under Subprocess.
