ORDCHG (Qty Change)

Hello All,

I am trying to change quantity for Sales order via Idoc all message type settings and partner profile is correct. I am using E1EDK02 & E1EDP01 segments. Now the issue is I am able to change quantity for line item 10, but when I try for line item 20, 30 or 40 it doesnt change anything on that. Is there any different segment I have to use or am I using wrong action code.

Help would be appreciated.

Could you please explain this process in Detail.Are you trying to change Sales Order Via Idoc (LSMW or any ZProgram).Where you are trying to Change Qty (In a Sales order or in IDOC).

Hello Amit,

Thanks for your reply. I was doing the change through Idoc with message type ORDCHG. However the way SAP looks at Item number is not at POSNR but POSEX which is PO item number.

Why they look at that way in segment E1EDP01 is because it is a inbound IDoc so they have given control to vendor with there item. However I got the solution, since it is a inbound for us we will have vendor to populate posex also and it works for us now.
