How to enabling multilanguages in SAP Hana

Hi Experts,

I have an requirement that business users want to see data in their local language, Can anyone help me how to do language translation in Hana.

Hi Kumar,

You can enable Multi-language support for models along with their elements like attributes and measures in different languages.

Procedure

1.From the Quick Launch tab page, choose Migrate.

2.Select the required objects.

3.Choose Add.

4.Choose OK.

Result

Object texts along with the corresponding elements are flagged for translation. These objects can be viewed in multiple languages provided that the object texts are translated.

Hi Ravi,

what you describe is the procedure to add multi-language meta data to the modeling objects, but not to the data.

You could do this, e.g. if you want to produce SAP HANA models as a form of content that you want to distribute to clients in their own language. That way they would see "AV_RECHNUNGEN" instead of "AV_INVOICES" in the modeler.

But Kumar asked about how users can see their *data* in the right language.

Unfortunately the documentation doesn't really cover this (but SAP course HA300 does, for example).
