sapccm4x shutdown

Hello,

a few minutes after starting the sapccm4x agent, it shuts down again. The error message is:

ERROR: Reinitialization called more than 10 times in the last 5 minutes

ERROR: Agent will stop now..

I have read note1304480. It seems not to be helpful.

Hi zigann,

Try to kill all the process from os level.

ps -ef|grep sapccm4x

Run the below command to clear the shared memeory.

sapccm4x -initshm pf=

Start the sapccm4x command

Hello,

the process did not run anymore. I have done initshm and started the agent again. It stopped with same error, but I have found a new error message at sapccm4x.log:

ERROR: OS monitoring: Error-102 NULL pointer passed as TID

And for any reason the HINT:

HINT: Please check compatibility of versions.

   SAPCCM4X of release 7.00 is to be used only to monitor ABAP or Double Stack instances of kernel release 7.00 (NW04s).

But as you can see in output above, I am using 701.

The problem does not exist anymore, I have migrated the SAP System from Solaris to Linux. After new installation I have no problem anymore.

Hello Atul,

as I wrote, I have already checked the note.

I have alreade seen the mentiened threat. Because of it, I have added the check of pfpar. I have no problems with exhausted memory.

There are no error messages in dev_disp today.

First of all, I can see that the agent you are running is very old as you can see below.

"patch text    patch collection 2009/4, OSS note 1304480"

Please access the SAP Marketplace and download the latest version of the sapccm4x agent and try again.

Please refer to the SAP Note 1453112.

In this case it will be patch collection 2012/1.
