Spend Analytic 2.0 upgrade to SPM3.0

Hi,

We have a plan for upgrade to SPM3.0 directly from 2.0.  We know that there is no direct path from 2.0 to 3.0.  We have to first upgrade to 2.1 then to 3.0.

SAP said that first unistall 2.0 and install 3.0.  In that case..do we need to create all the reports again...what about the data and other configuration settings.

Please let me know if any one came across this kind of situation.

Hi Sridhar,
I do not have experience in this upgrade however there are a few notes that I have researched that may assist you.
1658610 - SPM: Which Table Entries Are Affected After Migration? This internal note covers some details on 2.0 to 2.1.

The 2.1 to 3.0 migration has generated many notes. Please research SPM migration in  xsearch for more but start with these:

Hi John,

Thanks for the info.  We are looking forward to upgrade directly from 2.0 to 3.0 to meet our timelines which we already committed. I am not getting valuable info on upgrade from 2 to 3.  Please let me know if you come across any.
