latest Oracle version for NW 7.31

Hi Guys,

   We are running NW 7.31 on Windows 2008 & Oracle 11.2.0.2 , I've been told the end of maintenance for this version  is around the corner and we should be upgrade, I saw the Oracle 11.2.0.8 is out , but in Service.sap.com cant find higher than the 11.2.0.3 , Could you please help me and answer my 2 questions:

1- When is the end of maintenance for Oracle 11.2.0.2?

2- What's the latest Oracle Version I can upgrade to?

Hi Mar V,

Oracle 11.2 is supported upto Janurary 2018.

Please find details of Oracle version support in SAP Note 1174136 - Oracle: End of Support Dates

For Oracle 11g latest patch available is 11.2.0.3. If required you may upgrade it to 11.2.0.3

Could you please tell us from where you get to know that 11.2.0.8 is released?

Please share any links you may have.

As Deepak and Gaurav said, for Oracle 11g latest patch available is 11.2.0.3.

In addition to that you can refer the below Notes. This is updated most often.

and if you wanted to upgrade to 11.2.0.3 please see the below note.

Hi Mar,

Following is the Oracle 11.2 support dates:

End of Standard Support - Jan 2015

End of extended support - Jan 2018

Please check sap note - 1174136

Right now Oracle can be upgraded to 11.2.0.3. This is the latest patch supported (at this time) by SAP.
