What is the importance of “Allow Assembly Qty As Required” ( this is in System Rule Maintenance under Component Traceability).

If set to true, displays the Assembly Qty As Required checkbox on the Component Details screen of BOM Maintenance.

Hello,
And if you set this flag in the BOM for a component, the system stores the component quantity as "0" and you wont be able to do Assembly against the component. You can use any quantity (as required) of this component during your production process.
