Link between User role and Application ID in POWL

Hi Experts,

This may be a basic question but please guide me as i am new to srm.

What is the link between user role and application id in SRM POWL.

Like for eg, i understand that Application ID 'SAPSRMGP_E_CHECKSTATUS' is for Employee in self service role (ROLE: /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE) and

Application ID 'SAPSRM_OP_PURCHASING' to Role '/SAPSRM/OP_PURCHASER'

Where is this defined. Also, how to find whether a particular application id is for classic/extended classic scenario.

For role  /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE, please display it with trx pfcg.

Then in the following path, you will see the application id assigned to it :

  Cross-application Authorization Objects

    authorizations for Personal Object Work List (POWL) iViews

Application ID                 SAPSRM_E_CHECKSTATUS

Activity                       01, 02

Authorithy state: allowed or d Allowed

Activity                       01, 02

Authorithy state: allowed or d Allowed

Authorithy state: allowed or d Allowed

This is the connection between them, and you may change the application id content for the Z-roles.
