How to start mobile app development

hi,

I am very new for sap mobility . I i am not able to get what are the basis required for app development.Can anyone help for below question.

1. Can we develop mobility app in sap ecc6 with sql database.?

2. Can we develop mobility app in sap ecc 6 if yes how and where?

3. I had install sap Sybase unwired workspace how to develop app in that and can we contact MDK with ECC server. If yes how?

4. there are many video for mobility in sdn but is there any which can show how to start small app development.

5 . Suppose I want to develop simple app PO released (MM module) how i can develop.

6. Is any book to study sap mobility .

What do you mean by develop app in ECC 6? The apps are developed using Sybase Unwired Platform.

These apps are capable to connect any DB in the backend. Ex: SQL DB, ECC, HANA, Web services etc.

I think the above answer answers this question.

You should have an SUP server up and running to develop mobile app in Sybase Workspace.

From Sybase Workspace you need to connect to your SAP and SUP servers. You can find tutorials here,

Thanks for such a good example ..... althoug i had not yet try this .... but after study this some picture is clear.... As i had install sybase unwired workspace but it seen tht server is not install...

but full point to u ... thaks again ... and can u share more information tht can be helpful to me..

thanks for ur reply .... according to i think i had not install SUP server ....Actually i had istall try version which is provide at sdn .... Can u pleas help form where i can get sup server for try vision ... According to ur reply i think i can connect my workspace with ecc server If so how?

you can download the SUP from https://sybase.subscribenet.com/

for connecting to ECC you can create connection from workspace
