Stock return in WM

Hi Frnds,

I have below issue :

The material has been issued(MIGO-Mov Type 351) from WH w.r.t PO & the TO is already confirmed.

But the stock has been issued to wrong Plant & now the stock is in MB5T(Stock in Transit).

Now is there any way to bring the stock back in WM ?

We have reverse the stock via MIGO(Mov Type - 352 ) & stock has been back at storage location but not at Warehouse level !.

Do the reversal & creating TR,TO confirmation will return the stock back to Warehouse ?

Please suggest the issue is very critical !

Any solution on this will be highly appreciated.

If the stock transfer is required only on WM level, you can try by manually creating TO using transaction LT01 and movement type 999.

Put all the data in the fields required and enter correct source and destination data. Do not let the system propose the data ie do not click enter till you have entered all data.

Maybe the automatic WM reversal was not set for 352.

Hi Komal,

Actually we were suppose to create a TO from TR(generated by reverse mat doc -352).

But the user has deleted that TR due to which there is a stock inconsistency in MM & WM.

Now can we again use same Material doc(Reversal - 352) to create TR ?

If not what is the solution to bring the stock back to WM apart from manual TO ?

Please anybody provide some solutions.

Hi,

Please check if manual TR creation is allowed for your warehouse movement type. If you are using standard settings, then it would be movement 302. Use the path - SPRO - Logistics Execution - Warehouse Management - Activities - Transfers - Movement type. Check the tick box for "Manual TR creation allowed"

If it is there, then, you can create TR using transaction LB01. Later create TO with respect to the TR.

If it is not, then it means you can not create TR manually and, it would only be created automatically when you post the material document. So, I think you would need to cancel the material document for 352 and again post it using MB1B.

Please check if this works.

can you give a bit more details,

the 352 movement was done to a storage location which is warehouse managed?

and it did not create stock in the interim storage bin?

Is your 352 movement customized in WM?

Yeah it is customized.

Oncw we do GI & TO is confirmed.

Then what is the way to get the same stock back in WM(Bins).

According to standard process we need to reverse the posted material document & the to create TR/TO & confirming the TO will get the stock back to WM.

We have reverse the material document & by mistakely auto generated TR was cancelled.

So can we use the same reversed doc to Create TR & TO so that stock will get matched.

If so how we can create TR/TO using reversed materil document ?

I am actually a bit confused now.

a cancelled TR does usually not create a stock inconsistency between MM and WM

I would expect that the stock is still in the interim storage bin and is waiting to be put away.

If that is the case, then you can just create a TO in LT01 with movement 999 to move this stock from interim storage bin to the destination bin.

then you can do a new  issue it to the correct plant.

But if you have really a quantity difference between WM and MM, then you have to do much more to get it back in sync.

e.g. LX23 to make MM equal to your WM book inventory. then you have to do a physical inventory in WM to make the stock in SAP equal to your physical stock.
