Using LDAP for Solution Manager 7.1 user authentication

Hi Experts,

We are trying to implement Incident Management in our Landscape.

Our Requirement is If a user want to log a call/Incident using CRM UI Incident link, We want to use LDAP for user Authentication.

if you want to setup UME source LDAP for solution manager, its similar to all the other system,

We want to use LDAP for ABAP stack authentication ie for CRM UI log on screen of Incident Management.

There is any way to achieve this??

Hi Ajay,

Am also searching the same possibility for solution manager, to create incidents by authenticating through LDAP SSO. I came across a method SPNEGO for ABAP, yet to worked out.

Found any solution for this possibility ?

Did you manage to resolve this issue?

I to am attempting to configure SSO for Solution Manager Java which has the ABAP as UME.

ABAP is configure for SSO through LDAP, working successfully, however I am unable to get the Java stack to use LDAP SSO.

Hi Gary,

Nope it doesn't work when I tried with LDAP authentication for JAVA stack. Could you please tell me how did you achieved LDAP SSO for ABAP system.
