Not able to see update service in CCMS

hi,

I am not able to see update and update services alerts in CCMS Rz20

I verified with the note 449197.but still of no use.Any can guide me to activate that

Hello Gopal,

please check if the method CCMS_MC_UPDATE is configured as startup method (rz21 - Method definitions: search for CCMS_MC_UPDATE, doubleclick on the method. Tab "Control": the Option "Execute method immediately after monitoring segment start" has to be activated (with the option "Only on central instance")). In Release 6.x SAP forgot to deliver this startup flag...

If you have to set the flag, the Update context should be created after restarting the central instance or resetting the monitoring segment of the CI into the warmup status.

What will happen if u give reset segment to warm up status?? will the server will get restarted ??

Can i do this when the system is up and running??

Hi Michael,

I tried that but still not able to see update in all monitorig contexts of rz20 transaction.the thing is i have another system with Basis 620 but i could see the same right in it .

I dont know why this difference for the systems with same verision.
