Hi Expert,

We have Business critical situation wherein User is trying to cancel Material Document using MBST but getting error

You cannot cancel GR, since inspection lot is already partly posted

Material had QM enabled for which Purchase order was raised & GR carried out. Using QA11 Material stock was posted to Unrestr. Stock without UD.The status of Inspection Lot is REL CALC SPCO. We are now trying to cancel Material Document for GR but it is giving deficit in Qual. Insp Stock so we transferred stock from Unrestr. to Qual using MB1B - 322 MT

But now we are getting above error. Kindly suggest solution

Dear nitin,

Please run the program ZQEVAC20  in SE38 and check if there is any inconsistency in MM and QM stock. If there is please select the tick mark on the left side in output of this program and the inconsistency is removed in background by posting a material document. Once this is done please try to cancel GR .

Hi Team,

In addition to above method of canellation using MBST, we tried using MIGO for cancellation but same error. In OMJJ, for 322 MT MIGO is Set for Allowed transaction.

Hi,

The best and easy option is to bring all the stock to unrestricted use or blocked stock and then do a 122 - Return to Vendor.In this way the PO will be open again .If you are using the vendor evaluation of Standard SAP the vendor rating will be effected due to return to vendor.Also change the status of the inspection lot as LKD.
