The content we have deployed is SRM SERVER IC 7.01 SP7. I have checked all Orders mappings in the ESR and they use ORDERS02.Does anyone know why ORDERS05 isn't used? Does future content use this iDoc type?

I could change the mappings to use ORDERS05 but this causes us some problems. If we apply a service pack or move to a later release any changes will be lost.

Hi,

I'm not sure why the ORDERS05 is not used. But if you want to avoid issues with updates to the SWCV causing the changes to be lost, you can copy any objects that you wish to use into a custom SWCV and configure your scenario through this. This way any updates to the SAP standard SWCV will not affect your existing scenarios and you can customize as required.
