Hello All,
While accessing the Content Server intermittently we are getting below error, please suggest and let me know if you need more details.
HTTP error: 500 (Internal Server Error) "[SAP AG][SDBODBC DLL][MaxDB] General error;-8000 POS(1) SERVERDB must be restarted ;ODBC
State S10 Error while archiving for Business Object /COCKPIT/B
Version Info:
SAP HTTP Content Server
Server Version - 6400
Server Patch - 9
Server Build - 201
MaxDB 7.8

Please provide following information
1) Where the content server is installed Windows / unix ?
2) Could you check whether MAxDB is running or not ?
3) Please share content repository details from csadmin transaction

1] Content Server is Windows 2003 Server
2] DB is up, we are getting this error once or twice in a Day, otherwise System is fine
3] CSADMIN Details,
Status running
Description Readsoft Repositry
Mfr Copyright SAP AG, All right Status running
Version 6400 Descriptn
Build 201 pVersion
Version 015 Build 201
I would like to understand the meaning of this error, probable cause and know solution if any

Hi Kaushik,
Refer SAP Note 301352 . This appears since the drive is not registered.
Run command prompt, go to the directory where your SAP db is installation is, typically:
Drive:\sapdb\programs\pgm
Now execute the command:
odbcreg LiveCache -i -p Drive:\sapdb\programs\pgm
You should now have the driver registered. Ensure that database is online before you execute the command.
