Release Management in Solution Manager 7.0

Hello Guru's,

I would like to know what is Release Management in solution Manager and how to configure it.

I would also like to know how to use Release management for planning transport and generate reporting of the change which moved to QAS or PRD.

I request your Expert suggestion at the earliest.

Hi Vinod

All the above requirements are taken care by ChaRM the SAP Change Request Management functionality in solution manager with which you configure workflows based mechanism to have a controlled transport mechanism for entire landscape.

Hi Prabhakar,

Thanks for the information, All the configuration from the links you provided are already done.

I am looking for Planning toll in solution manager which will give you flexibility to plan your change to move and reporting in the current status. I think i have to go for custom Development to get the details.

If you have encountered such situation in past please guide me.

Hi Vinod,

You have said it is configured but I thinkyou have configured only ChaRM and has not configured cProjects

Because your requirements seems to be met by cProjects integration.

Implement cProjects and then you can achieve what you are looking for
