Hi,
I am having a weird issue. Whenever I test my ABAP Webdynpro application, I am facing with "The page cannot be displayed" message in the IE.
I checked the services in SICF and all are in active state.
Can any one suggest does anywhere I am going wrong?
Regards,
Narendra.
Hallo Narenda
I had the same problem and solved it as here

There are several factors to consider and parameters to set.
I hope the above link is clear enough ?

Hi Narendra,
Are you able to see the layout of your application if its available try to check proxy setting.
If you are not able to see the layout
please update the host file.
# For example:
#
# IP address XXX.xxxx.com # source server
# IP address x.xxxx.com # x client host
Thanks

Hi Narendra,
1) WD follows HTTP and HTTPS protocol.
This needs to be checked in SMICM. Click on GOTO-->Services.
You have to find the Port and the URL attached there.
2) Check services in SICF and all services has to be active under WEBDYNPRO.
3) In some cases even if Services are active the view designer will not work.
Hostname should be added in host file (c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts).
Please let me know if your problem is resolved...
