Problem with single stack 7.3 for proxy communication

Hi Friends,

We have a requirement to configure standard SRM-ECC content using PI 7.3.1 ( Single stack)  I have followed SAP help ,few documents  and configured the below settings:

we are doing PO and PR transfers using  proxy communications...

ECC:

SM59

configured two G type connections .

a) SAP_PROXY_ESR

b) PI_AAE for AEX destination

created entry for SLDAPICUST, SXMB_ADM , LCRSAPRFC (TCP/IP) and tested SLDCHECK also. All connections are working fine... except SXI_CACHE.

SRM

similary for SRM also , all above connections are maintained and tested.  SRM also has same issue SXI_CACHE..

I have one doubt , for dual stack ,  generally we create RFC type ( H) Integration_directory_hmi connection from ABAP stack of PI system to backend systems(ECC,SRM ) for cache refresh right..?

If my above cache error is due to lack of this configuration from single stack.. how and where i should make this entry..? can any one guide me what steps was missed out from NWA settings ?

how do I address this..?

While testing, we have encountered some errors in moni of both SRM and ECC systems... Errror is .. XI Parsing error

<SAP STACK> CPAObjNotFound Exception ...couldn't retrieve inbound binding for p/s/a values

Hi Suman,

Have you activated XI service in SICF transaction in ECC/SRM.

check IE configuration in sxmb_adm

in SM59 are you using complete path prefix - /XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?ximessage=true

check if sender comm channel has message protocol as xi

Hi Beena,

SLDCHECK  test is  successfull. I am able to see all the information as expected.

Except SXI_CACHE( in backend systems), all my connections pointing to PI system  are successful.

Hi Ranjeet,

I have  ensured all those parameters  and all my connections are working.

I think, if I  clear SXI_CACHE error from  backend connected systems, probably I would succeed. Do you have any suggestion with what parameters cache content connection  is to be made from PI single stack to backend ( ECC/SRM) systems.

We have some thing called Integration_directory_hmi type H connection  from PI system to their backend systems ( for PI dual stack systems).

my whole doubt is ,how to make similar connection for a single stack PI 7.31( java stack)?

you dont need Integration_directory_hmi type H connection as you dont have abap stack.

try to do a full cache refresh.

as per the the error description there is issue around Integrated Configuaration.

try by deleting and recreating IC.
