Solved: System Copy for 4.6 System

Hi SAP Techies,

We have been asked to do build a new system via exsting 4.6 SAP System.

The oracle has been restored via backup/restore.

OS Team has created the FS as per the target.

Can any one suggest how do i proceed further, i see no installation s/w in market place.

Hi Sandeep,

We have to raise an OSS message and request SAP to enable the access to download the SAP installation master....

Then you can start the R3Setup/SAPINST and select teh backup/restore method and try continuing again.

Currently SAP has removed the access to download very old SAP softwares... You have to raise an OSS message and request to enable them..

They will enable it for the period of 2 weeks I guess... not sure... You have to download it ... They will give you the link to download as well...

As well as request for Kernel DVD's too.
