SYSTEM STATUS AND USER STATUS

Hi Gurus,

Please tell me that, is it possible for the user to oppose the system status which are defined by the system. Means for example After release of order status will be displayed as REL by the system, is it possible to oppose the status by the user.(Hope it will be not done) But if it is please explain the settings to be done.

You can restrict the system status change using user status using Business Transaction feature.

What do you mean by 'oppose', do you mean 'prevent' or 'cancel'?

In first case, follow Maheswaran's advice. Otherwise be advised that certain System Stati may be cancelled (usually with an option under menu - functions e.g. cancel technical completion. Other stati e.g. REL or NCMP can't be cancelled - again follow Maheswaran's advice to set up additional control using UserStatus if required.
