Hi!
How to estimate DB growth for new implementation based on for example number of invoices per year? Is there any tool for that?
Best regards
A.

Hi Anatoly,
For Vanila implementation you can use Quicksizer . Based on the inputs it shall provide a baseline database size. Then based on the volume of transactions you may roughly approximate the monthly growth. For normal load business a unicode ECC system will have monthly database growth from 40GB - 60 GB / month.
Now the calculation part ( Illustration purpose only)
Initial DB size based on Quick sizer : 250 GB
Assuming 50GB/month database growth
So Total growth in a year would be 600 GB
So at the end of year 1 my database size will be 250+600 = 850 GB.
You may iterate the calculation for next years based on the roadmap you want to propose.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
You can use the quick size tool for it.
Check what is the size of the DB currently and how much it is increasing per year...Based on that add 15%(rough check) every year and predict it to for next 5 years.
How to use Quick size tool.. Please see the below link.
