Desktop shortcut s8l after auto update on desktop

After that I set up SAPLOGON auto update from server I have problem open SAPLogon on client side. Inside shorcut SAP Logon on the desktop icon there is file with .s8l extension. After double click on this icon  "Open in program" dialog appears. I cannot find any documentation or discusion. Plese help me find it.

Hi Michal,

You need to change the property of this file.

This file should open with SapStart.exe.

The path to this file is C:\Program Files\SAP\SapSetup\setup

Thank you, but for installation on a network for multiple computers it is not appropriate.Why it SAP Installer service does not automatically? It is possible to make a script?

Hi Michal,

I guess after update, the file association is removed from registry. You can write a registry entry script for that.

One question here, Is it happening to all the system?
