[AutoSuggest] Flawed or not ?

Hi,

First of all, I am running 7.02 SP9, this might be of importance for what is following.

I noticed that when you have many entries, the standard limit the number of suggestion to 50. This seems to come from a constant in class CL_WDR_VALUE_HELP_HANDLER

Fine, 50 seems large enough to me in my scenario!  (does anyone know how to change this by the way?)

But, if I continue typing and reach a value not belonging to these 50 values (but that I know is a valid one) it says "No matches found".

Do you experience the same behaviour?

Am I missing a customizing parameter somewhere?

In my opinion, the system should discard the "cache" it has built and performs a new selection.

Hi,

Well, this is exactly what I was looking for! (I am amazed each time I miss notes when searching in Support portal...)

Unfortunately, the note says it applies to 7.02 SP5 whereas we are running 7.02 SP9  (I open an OSS message)
