Sort storage bin position ascending in Transfer order

Hi experts,

I am transferring goods via 311 mot type - StLoc to StLoc transfer with WM transfer

I did transfer migo 311 - then LB12

Just I see in TO  no is T1111

1    905948700     004 05D0110

2    106201932     004 04A1420

3    100114200     004 05A0750

4    107866006     004 05C0620

And I need with following sort positions storage bin in TO by binNo:

1    106201932     004 04A1420

2    100114200     004 05A0750

3    107866006     004 05C0620

4    905948700     004 05D0110

I missed some customization level.

Can you please advice?

Hi,

I hope you are using the putaway strategy as the next empty bin (L). Please check the settings maintained for your storage type for the cross line putaway using OMLM.

You can search for corss line putaway in the forums to get more info on this. You just need to specify the order in which your empty storage bins would be selected to have a proper loading of the storage type.

Dear Sushant ,

Thank you for your answer, but in Putaway Strategies - Fixed Bins  -WM -921 - I kept blank putawasy and stock removal and the same in Empty Storage Bin too.

in OMLM I already defined WM - storage type 004 - 1 2  3 4   5 6

and result as same.

can you please advice full details how to cross check ? in WM

Hi Santosh,

Can you please paste the screenshot of the storage type 004?

the settings in the OMLM would work only if you have maintained putaway strategy "L". Please refer the following link that explains this concept in more detail -

Hi,

Your putaway strategy is F - Fixed bin. The system is finding the storage bins from the material master WM 2 view.

I suggest you make putaway as "L" then cancel the TR created and try doing it once again. Hopefully it should work out.

You can cancel your TO using LT15.

If you carefully read my previous replies and the link given you can get the answer very well...

Follow the steps

1. Modify storage type configuration - make putaway strategy as "L"

2. Cancel already created TO with LT15

3. Cancel the earlier goods movement for 311. ( what you mentioned in your first post)

4. Create a new document for 311 for storage location transfer

5. perform LB12

6. check the TO
