Ajith,

Some one has misguided you.

Yes you can very much create object links for sales inquiry and quotation with document info record (DMS).

i came to know that there are no object links for inquiry and quotation to attach files.

Ensure that you have configured your document type correctly. In your document type, you should have configured the object link for "sales document item (VBAP)" (Screen number 215)

Please see the below screen shots, which will help you understand it.

Sales inquiry:

Quotation:

Document Info Record:

You can try this in your system and close this thread.

Hi Ajith,

You may use following options

1) You may develop screens for object links. Refer thread http://scn.sap.com/thread/1758770

2) You the Service Object links ( visible on top left corner of gui) to attach documents. In this case you may need to create an archive link destination ( which shall be DMS content server) else it may upload documents into SAP database.

No need of any screen developments. It is standard functionality of SAP DMS.

Deepak,

One advise (take it positively). If you are not sure of something/ if you do not know that, than kindly do not comment. If comment, you highlight that, saying that "you are not sure".

D not take it personally.  Cheers!!!
