Need help in creating a Universe/report on Essbase Cubes

Hi All

Our Essbase cube has a 8 Dimensions like Account, Product, Currency and etc. I have created a OLAP connection and when i tried to create Business Layer , I have been asked to choose any of the 8 dimensions and after selecting the dimension a Business Layer for that dimension has been created.  Hence i will have to create 8 Business layers one for each dimension.

Is there a way i can include all these dimensions in one single business Layer.

Also is there any document available on how to create reports on OLAP Essbase cubes

Hi Ajith,

Did you get a chance to create an OLAP connection from CMC. We
can create OLAP connection from CMC, and then build webi reports from
BILaunchpad.

To create OLAP connection Go to CMC-->Select "OLAP
Connections->Click on New-->Provide the details as you do in IDT.

Now launch BILaunch pad-->create webi report->the
"OLAP Connection name" should be displayed under the list of universes
