Output of packing list

Hello Experts !

I am working on multilevel packing function in delivery, i am packing Pairs into Boxes, and further boxes into Cartoon. ( this packing i am doing manually by choosing "partial quantity" and then clicking on "per part quantity" )

i am packing 20 PAIRS in 1 BOX and 2 BOXES in 1 CARTOON

now i have assigned output type PL00 to print packing list. suppose i have 40 pairs to pack so i will use 2 boxes for this and i cartoon to pack 2 boxes . i want to get it printed in the below format

PACKING                               QTY

20 PAIRS X 2 BOXES         1 CARTOON

in the standard output PL00, this format is not supported, can you please tell me from where i will pick this field in smartform, as i am unable to get this in any table .

Hi,

You may think of using Alternative UoM

In your case 2 UoM has to be maintiane in material master additional data tab.

1). 20 Pairs = 1 Box

2) 1 cartoon = 2 Boxes,

Now, ask your ABAPer to use this calculation for print purpose in the output program. You can consider MARM table for this.

Dear Sai,

we can get this by maintaining the alternate unit of measure but from where i get the "counting" of packets like 20 pair X 2 boxes and further counting of cartoons

if any other idea you have please share.

You can give logic to ABAPer to get the calculation. We are currently doing this for our client.
