Forcing golden unit usage for a product

Hi,

I have been reading the info I could find about golden units in SAP ME and understand

that it is possible to manually set an SFC as a golden unit.

My question is if there exist some functionality to force the usage of golden unit for a product?

No, there is no automatic promotion to Golden Unit status.  That is something that depends on the customer's processes.
