Hi Nelson,

1. set the below parameter in instance profile

Login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0

2. restart the system

3. Logon to the new client with user sap* and password: pass.

4. Perform the local client copy.

If you don't know about the client copy procedure , please follow the below link

Hi Nelson

Please follow the below steps. It should fix your issue.

1.Login to sqlplus "/as sysdba" -> delete from sapsr3.usr02 where bname='SAP* and mandt='100':

2. Please set the parameter

Login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0 in your default profile

. Restart your system

3.Try to login to the new client using sap* and password as pass.

You should be able to login to the system.

Thanks and Regards,

Vimal

Hi Nelson,

After setting the profile parameter have you restarted your SAP system. If not, please do it and then check. It should work.

Also ensure that login/no_automatic_user_sapstar does not exists in Default profile and it has only single entry in instance profile.
