SCN Login problem

Former Member

Dear Moderator

I am unable to login to SCN from my office computer.

When I click the 'login' word, a popup window appears. Its a 'ID Service' popup.

It says a mail has been sent to my email same as the ID shown.

But that is an old ID which I have lost the email password.

So, this popup message seems to appear immediately when I click login.

I have another SCN ID created already. But how can I login with the new ID when every time I click login , that message appears without option to enter my new ID?

Please could you advise.

Thank you very much.

Regards

Pascal

Hi Pascal,

Here you have two ways:

1. Delete browser cache and try.

2. I also have same issue even i delete the browser cache also. use Google chrome, it is working fine. when ever you try to log into SCN the SAP popup will come (SAP Passport) just cancel this, it will go to SCN login screen. Let me know if you face any issues and lets see for the more comments.

Thanks

Hi Kishore

I am using Chrome at home. Its no problem.

Will install it on my office laptop and try.

Thanks!

Hi Pascal,

I've just moved this thread to SCN Support.

Kishore is right about trying to clear your cache.  Having multiple users also complicates things: if you still want to access that other account, SCN offline support can help.  Just send and eMail to sapnetwork@sap.com

Dear Pascal,

Finally i found the below Solution .

  • Go to Internet Options > in the Content tab>
  • Open the Certificates > Double Click on the certificate >
  • Go to Details Tab > below we can find Edit Properties button – Open the Edit Properties button
  • Go to OCSP Tab > in the add URL box just add http://scn.sap.com/welcome
  • Click OK and restart the internet Explorer.
  • Now the SAP passport not prompting for SCN.

I am tested this in my system for Internet Explorer - working fine .

Please let me know if you find any issue.

Thanks

Dear Kishore

Good evening.

I tried but my Internet Explorer is version 8.

Its not having the same menu as you mentioned.

There is an OCSP setting but its just a tick box. There is no where I can specify the url. Its already ticked.

I cleared the ssl and history and restarted. No luck.
