Hi All,

Need help in understanding difference between Dealers Portal and DBM.

At present we are planning to activate VMS, but we need Dealer interaction as well in the Business. I understand that we can activate DBM and VMS to leverage the combined functionality.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_dbm700/helpdata/en/c8/79b444f7004469a1610b33bfe486ff/content.htm

But befor going for that, we want to have some understanding of Dealer Portal.

Please shed some light over this.---> How Dealer Portal is different from DBM.

Regards,

Avinash

I was going through this Dealers Portal documentation and now I have come across one pain point. We were actually planning to go for Repetitive manufacturing in ECC. But the documentation says Web based vehicle sales functions(in short DP) are based on VMS application in Discrete Industries system.

Please add your comments over this. If there are issues then what probably they can be.

It will be grate if System functionality related pain points can be identified.
