Error while creating Material Master

Hi Seniors,

Can u plz assist on the below mail.

Have created

9001 - Comp  code

9001 - plant.

PRSL - Storage location

PD - Dist.Channel

and have done all required assignments.

Also, have checked "enterprise structure for Sales & distribution" and there is no error on that.

But, while creating Material Master in MM01.

it shows the below error.

"The company code 9001 does not exist or has not been fully maintained"

Hi,

You have to maintain OMS2 and OMSY settings for the company code

In the OMSY, maintain the fiscal year and period and check the Allowed back period postings indicator for your company code

OMS2 for plant and material type combination check the Value and quantity updation

Main settings is for OMSY, Maintain it and check

Hi Navaneetha,

Further to our memeber's reply, i just want add one more point here: OMSY or OMS2 setting are supposed to be done by FI team. Its good to know the resolution of the issue, but, i strongly recommend to reach out your FI guys for any changes in the system.

Second point: Whenever you get these type error message, you can click on the (?) symbol at error message you will get the complete information for or details related to issue.
