Hi
I have started the server after oracle upgrade and before this i have checked Select * from V4version and post upgrade script so it was showing 11.2.0.3.
But some problems i am facing
1> i have not extracted oracle client still so will do it.
2>When i login , it shows dump assign_length_0
3> system is very slow ( for se16 t-code it tooked almost 15m)
4> while starting the oracle showing error "
ORA-32004: obsolete or deprecated parameter(s) specified for RDBMS instance"
I know that this warning is coming becoa remote_os_authent parameter is true. So what shuld i do so tht this error must not come.
Can any1 advice me regarding any of these points

After oracle upgrade/update have you performed database statistics gathering? If yes but performance is slow it requires more investigation.

See alert log for a list of parameters that are obsolete or deprecated. Check across Note 1431798 - Oracle 11.2.0: Database Parameter Settings to decide what to do with this parameters.

Hi Swati,
Please run following database statistics.
1) Update database statistics
2) Update Oracle dictionary statistics
3) Update system statistics.
Post this performance should improve.
Error info "ORA-32004: obsolete or deprecated parameter(s) specified for RDBMS instance" Can be ignored.
Please run these statistics and post the results.
