Hi All,
I am trying to Update from SP3 to SP5
When I try to open Lifecycle management on HANA Studio it gives this erros
Error: Could not connect to the Update server
Possible reason: Network error occurred or Update server is not running
And I went in to HANA box and browsed to /usr/sap/<SID>/SUM
and then started ./sum.sh
this triggers a command line ...
What am I missing here .
I am also getting the same error.
I tried the sequence suggested by Mr. Junior but no luck.
I think it is due to port closure. I have to ask the Network team to sniff it to find if that is the issue because I am having trouble in exporting file to server as well.
Otherwise the studio is working fine. I am not really sure what is the issue.
Please let us know if any advice for us.
Best Regards,
SS

Hi SS,
Have you installed the SAP HANA by Unified Installer Tool ? Maybe you can have problems with the ceritified in the repository between the SAP Hostagent, SUM and SAP HANA Studio.
Please chek your HTTP settings in Windows >> Preferences >> General >> Network Connections ...more information as configure it you can see the adminsitratio Guide.
I"ve already this configurations is wrong and show the message above in the LCM.
Good luck

Hi Keshan,
Really you need to start the SUM ( sum.sh) firstly before you start the LCM by SAP HANA studio.
Maybe you need to close the SUM in the Studio and reopen it, ensuring that SUM is listening.
Good Luck
