DR setup for Java Stack system

Hi Experts,

I'd like to ask some inputs on how to setup DR for a java stack system only. We are using AIX/Oracle 11g platform for this system.

We're planning to set up DR as a standby.

Any idea would be a great help!

Thanks for the inputs. Would there be any difference with regards to the system as long as it's Java stack? Because the system we're planning to setup DR is IS (Internet Sales/Order Direct) system.

Hi Eleazar,

Is your Internet Sales/Order Direct deployed on SAP Portal ?

If yes, there are changes to be done for hostnames ( mentioned in the threads above) while making DR system up. Java based systems have some relevant information stored in files as compared to ABAP systems where everything is in database.

For database section of Java stack , process is similar to abap stack.
