Hi All,

on one of my system, i can see lock entries of January'13 however no entries in SM66.

System has been restarted for offline backup many times, but still i have to delete entries manually.

Can any know the reason?

Thanks in advance

Naresh

System has been restarted for offline backup many times

If the Backup is done via DB13 then the system goes into a "suspended" mode so it doesn't really go down.... Maybe this is the reason for the locks to be present.

Hi Juan,

Backups were not scheduled through DB13,they will be scheduled through other tools.

Thanks

Well, then certainly those locks shouldn't be there...  do you know the nature of the locks (where are they coming from)?, User?, Activity?

Sounds safe to remove the locks. I would simply remove them.

Do they get recreated each time you restart the system?
