Hi Experts,

I'm not so familiar with BASIS.

The current landscape is so: T1E Client 500 (SAP R/3) <> PIQ Client 001 <> other external applications.

Now customer want to replace T1E 500 with M3P Client 100.

What I should do? In my opinion, the following steps could be necessary:

- HTTP Connection and ABAP-Connection in SM59

- In SLD set all software components on M3P

That's all? or something i should take in concern?

Hi Rene,

It is NOT a basis task!

Dont touch the software componnents in SLD.

Create a new Techn System and a new Business System for M3P 100 in SLD. Then define a transport target from your development Business System to M3P. Execute a directory transport for all related objects. Finally delete all objects related to T1E (open the Business System and click Button "where-used-list".

Let me make you explanation in details:

1. create new TS and BS of M3P in SLD.

2. Add transport target M3P in BS_T1E in SLD by using Tab "Transport" button "add / change target"? But here I'm not allow to do that. why?

3. In IB transport I can export all objects by using file-system. I should import those objects in the same PIQ once more?

4. delete all objects related to T1E in IB.

Hope you can clear my confusion.

Hi Rene,

you need of course transport from the DEVELOPMENT system. You dont have permission because both systems are related to same Integration Server.

Then define a transport target from your development Business System to M3P

Hi Udo,

Now I am trying to do this system replacement.

As you instructed, I define the transport target of my developement business system to M3P.

The tranport is without error. But the imported objects appear in the old business system, but not in the new business system.

Why?

Could you help me out?

Is it possible to reimport TR with "overwrite originals " option to your quality system ?
