Not able to see service item in search UI for MDM ...

Hi Experts,

We are using MDM catalog 7.02.

I have created new repository for service catalog and selected the Service(MSS) radio button in MDM configuration UI.

I created service item in MDM Data Manager and tried to see this in MDM search UI. It is not visible in MDM search UI.

but if select the Product catalog radio button in configuration UI, it is visible in search UI

I have below doubts:

1. Is it possible to see service item without hierarchy(flat services) in search UI for MDM service catalog without

activating any switch?

2. only hierarchical services can be displayed in service catalog ?

3. Shall we use product catalog to display the flat services or use service catalog. If we use the service catalog, then

what is the difference between service catalog and product catalog(Currently We are using product catalog for flat services)

?
