Need information about sap installation on AMD

hi,

i have decided to take new HP laptop of AMD turion (64 bit ,80 GB hard disk,1GB RAM) . Can anybody tell me will it work? what are the problems with this ? wethere der is heating problem? please tell me it is good to install on this laptop & invest in this laptop.

You may be able to put the Netweaver 04s version found here on it:

But no, it does not have enough memory for ECC.

check at http://service.sap.com/PAM to see if your AMD turion 64-bit is supported.

80GB is clearly not enough disk space to install SAP ECC 5.0 or above and is probably pretty tight for R/3 Enterprise 4.7. Same goes for memory. 1GB is not enough for SAP ECC 5.0.
