Hi Venkata,

As stated by Mr.Aditya  PS is the module which  integrates with most of the modules like SD,FI,CO,MM,PP,QM,PM,CS,HR

SD : Milestone Billing, Gets updates from PS for activity confirmations, DIP profile linking. Account assignment[WBS] gives the planned revenue.

FI/CO : Accounting posting against WBS and Activity. Which gives planned actuals through controlling documents.

PP: Production against WBS. Cost goes to the project.

QM : Approving/Rejecting materials marked for quality inspection and capturing the cost of it.

PM : Preventive/Breakdown orders and the cost of the same to Project.

HR : Timesheet updates

CS : Customer service[After Sales Service] and capturing the cost the project.

MM : Procurement against WBS

Hi Venkata,

Project System module has integration points with almost all modules of ECC: SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, HCM, etc.

SD:

- Account assigning Billing WBS element for recognizing Revenues at WBSE.

- Determining Sales Pricing from Project structure to prepare a Sales Quotation.

MM: Raise PReq from Network against WBS and converting it PO->GR->Goods Issue to post actuals against that WBSE.

PP: Creating Planned orders->Process/Production orders->Goods Issue against a Project and settle actuals to Account Assigned WBSE.

QM: Create a Quality Inspection Lot / QM Order and Account assign WBSE to post actuals.

PM: Create a PM order with WBSE account assigned for relevant actuals.

HCM: Employees book timesheets against the assigned WBSEs as a worklist in CAT2. Then you can transfer that postings using CAT7/CAT5.

This way PS can be integrated with different modules and actuals can be collected at different WBS elements which rolls up to the highest level WBSE.

Hope this help.

Cheers,

AK
