Control the type of alerts showed on alert inbox based on roles

Hello to all,

I would like to know if there is a way to control what type of alerts are showed on the alert inbox of Technical Monitoring workcenter for an operator based on the roles assigned?

How could i control that an operator only sees the kind of alerts that he is supposed to manage?

Any idea if this can be accomplished? Any suggestions?

Hi D. Kroone,

I have been checking the security guide but i cannot find an easy way to do it... i do not want to spend a lot of time trying to accomplish this..

Do you know if there is a simple way to do it? Any other ideas?

Hi Sabin,

To be honoust, I guess it will be difficult to setup authorization to display only limited alerts.

However, what you can manage is the authorizations they have in the alert inbox.

You can setup level1 or level2 authorization, where level one doesn't allow an operator to confirm or dispatch alerts. If you check the guide for SPS7 (dont know what level you are on) you'll find all the info when you check page 221 and onwards.
