User Defined Search Functionality for PI 7.3

Dear friends,

We want to implement User Defined Search functionality on our PI 7.3 system.

We have already walked through the document: How to configure and Execute User Defined Message Search

But I have a couple of question about it:

On PI we have our housekeeping jobs to clean the successful and error messages after one day. Is it possible to search the messages (after one day) after they are deleted by the housekeeping jobs?

What does the program SXMS_EXTRACT_MESSAGES exactly do? Is it used for searching the old messages? and what is the connection between this program and the housekeeping jobs?

We also don’t want to keep the whole payload, just a few interface specific information (like: the XPATH ID, sender and receiver information and the date time information). Is that possible?
